This is a 4 day camp focused on understanding and implementing the fundamentals of horsemanship and horseback riding. We will be building on what we have already learned in past summers; using body language to communicate with our equine partners, proper balance when riding, being steady, consistent and firm with our direction, and of course having fun! We will also be practicing in hand work with the horses; learning to get them to do what we want from the ground safely and efficiently.
